When it becomes possible to play cricket again, what we don’t want to see is that volunteers cannot be involved because their qualifications have expired during this shut down period. If anyone needs to update their Safeguarding Young Cricketers (SYC) please send Sharon Eyers (sharon.eyers@middlesexccc.com )their name and email address and we will send them a link to carry this out on-line.
If anyone needs to update their DBS the ECB are allowing the County Welfare Officer to carry out the ID verification part of the application via a video call as opposed to the standard Face to Face meeting. To initiate a DBS, please send Sharon Eyers the following information so that she can initiate the DBS to the individual:
- Full Name as written on their passport
- Title – Mr Miss Mrs Ms
- Role that they play
- Club they are involved with
- Gender
- Date of Birth
- Email address
For the face to face meeting, the applicant will need to:
1. Have sent over copies of their 3 ID documents prior to the meeting
2. Ensure that they have their application reference number
Please see below for options on how the Video Link can take place
1. Zoom – https://zoom.us/
2. Skype – https://www.skype.com/en/
3. Google Hangouts – https://tools.google.com/dlpage/hangoutplugin
4. iPhone Facetime – https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT204380
5. WhatsApp video call – https://www.whatsapp.com/download
Once the applicant has completed the on-line form and has sent over copies of their ID the video call can be organised with the County Welfare Officer. If Sharon is not available you can contact Katie Berry on Katie.Berry@Middlesexccc.com
Thank you for your support in this matter and please make sure you are all staying safe.
