The Middlesex Junior Cricket Association (“MJCA”) is a charity (reg. no. 291966) which promotes cricket for children in the former county of Middlesex and adjacent areas. Its primary role is to organise league and cup competitions and to award trophies to successful teams. Its member Clubs deal with their individual playing members, coaches and team managers and it is the Clubs that hold their personal data.
The MJCA holds personal data of its executive committee, of its adult associate members and of colts secretaries and team managers (as communicated by the Clubs), in order to meet its legitimate interests as an association. In addition, in exceptional cases, such as cases involving investigation into disciplinary matters, it may hold additional data required for its
legitimate interests and may be required to make disclosures to other bodies under its legal obligations.
Other than personal data published on its web-site (and formerly in its annual Handbooks), the MJCA takes reasonable steps to keep all such personal data held confidential.
In respect of personal data published on its web-site, the MJCA will endeavour to contact the relevant people to give them the option to correct or to withhold such data.
In case of any further enquiry, please contact the MJCA’s data protection officer, currently the Treasurer, Simon Mollett on firstname.lastname@example.org
